DERA GHAZI KHAN
Three sibling including two sisters and their minor brother burnt alive after their uncle set ablaze their house when they were asleep while their parents and three others sustained critical burns.
The gruesome incident took place over a piece of land measuring seven canals in village Bairiwala Mamoori in the wee hours of Thursday. The body and injured were shifted to the DHQ Hospital by Rescue 1122 workers from the injured were referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan as the DHQ Hospital DG Khan lacks burn unit.
According the Choti Zirin police officials, Mohammad Suleman doused the room of  his brother Mohammad Qasim with petrol at around 2:45am when all the family members were asleep and set it on fire. Resultantly, 14-year-old Samreen Bibi, 16-year-old Zahra Bibi and their two-year-old brother Hassan were burnt alive while their parents Qasim Khan and his wife Mussarat Bibi, Fatima, Yousuf and Asim sustained severe burns. They were rushed to DHQ Hospital but had to be referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan.
The Choti Zirin Police registered a case under section 302 and 436 PPC against the accused.
