Pakistan, Iran and Turkey hold trilateral meeting in Istanbul

The first tripartite session of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM) and Karachi Council on Foreign Relations (KCFR) was held in Istanbul on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on the latest regional developments in Silk Road, and grounds for trilateral cooperation and foreign policy of US President Donald Trump's administration and the US efforts to weaken the three regional powers.

The roundtable meeting reviewed ways of cooperation among the three countries to thwart the US plots.

Among other issues discussed at the meeting was establishment of the center of terrorism studies. Another meeting will also be held in the presence of the Chinese centers.
