Police station in Peshawar inaugurated

Peshawar - A modern police station was inaugurated in the provincial capital after renovation work while 4 proclaimed offenders and 105 other suspects were nabbed during search operations here on Thursday.

Capital City Police Officer Abbas Ahsan, SSP Operations Haroon Rasheed and SP City Attique Shah inaugurated the renovated Bhanamari Police Station.  Speaking on the occasion, the police officers said that renovation work on other police stations was also in progress, with the aim of facilitating the public in the long run. Residential barracks and offices are being set up in the police stations under renovation.

Meanwhile, SSP Operations Haroon Rasheed said the police had arrested four wanted men and 105 suspects and also recovered arms in raids. He said that Peshawar Police was focusing to improve human intelligence during the search operations.

During operations in seven places of Peshawar on Thursday, the cops recovered 22 pistols, two Kalashnikovs, and hundreds of bullets.
