LAHORE   -   A World Bank delegation called on Hasaan Khawar, Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) for Information and Tourism, and discussed various proposals for tourist facilities at Murree and other tourist destinations in the province.

Several issues came under consideration regarding opening of rescue centers in Murree and management of tourists in collaboration with World Bank. The SACM directed the Tourism Department to prepare a comprehensive plan for traffic management in Murree, and he also emphasised effective awareness campaign in this regard. It was decided in the meeting that special centers would be set up in collaboration with the World Bank for providing awareness and information to tourists. The World Bank will also assist the tourists at tourist destinations.
