Incidents of violence claim seven lives in Karachi

At least seven people were killed while two others were injured in incidents of violence across Karachi.
According to the police, the body of a man who had been shot dead was recovered from Malir Town’s Aansu Goth area.
Moreover, a man’s body bearing torture marks was recovered from an area near Sohrab Goth’s Al-Asif Square. The body was shifted to a nearby hospital.
In another incident, a man was shot dead in Karachi’s Orangi Town.
Moreover, assailants shot dead a man and a woman in the city’s Khokhrapar area.
On Jamshed Road in the city’s Jamshed Town, unknown gunmen attacked a trader who was shot dead.
In the city’s Landhi Town, assailants opened fire on a truck which led to the death of its driver.
Meanwhile, two persons, including a woman, were injured in firing of unidentified gunmen at Jehangir Road of the city.
Sajid and his brother’s wife Ruqaya were sitting outside their house to take fresh air in power loadshedding time when unknown gunmen started firing on them.
Both received injuries and were taken to Civil Hospital for treatment where they were reported in critical condition. Police said that the incident may be a result of personal enmity.
