SHEIKHUPURA - An activist of Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) was shot dead by three assailants here in the Muridke Saddr Police precincts, the other night. According to details, Hafiz Tahir Saleemi was on the way back home after saying Esha prayer in village Nangal Sadhan. Meanwhile, three armed motorcyclists intercepted him near his home and shot him dead, stated his wife Ume Islam in First Information Report (FIR).  Following the incident, panic spread through the area while people protested against the brutal murder and demanded the police high ups to arrest the culprits.  On the other hand, the Muridke Saddr Police registered a case against Rafaqat and his two accomplices on the complaint of the deceased’s wife.
