LAHORE – Punjab University on Friday hosted a lunch in the honour of special children at the Executive Club.
Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Chairman Hall Council Prof Dr Akhtar, Resident Officer-I Javed Sami, Special Children Pattern-In-chief Dr Waqar Chaudhry, Mian Muhammad Saeed, Maher Rashid Younus, senior vice president of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a large number of special children were present on the occasion.
Dr Kamran said Allah had bestowed special children with special capabilities. “No society can progress without polishing and encouraging the capacities of its members,” he maintained.
Dr Waqar said the incumbent vice chancellor had taken revolutionary steps for the welfare of special children; and had provided them with free education and boarding, as well as scholarships.
