S Arabia-returned man looted

RAWALPINDI - Unknown robbers impersonating themselves as security officials looted a Saudi Arabia-returned man on Airport Road, sources informed on Friday.
Similarly, dacoits, robbers and carjackers struck various localities of the city stealing cash, mobile phones, gold, motorcycles and cars.
According to sources, a passenger, who had arrived from Saudi Arabia and is a resident of Mansehra, was intercepted by a gang of robbers on Airport Road. The robbers introduced themselves as security officials and during search of the car snatched 15,300 Saudi riyals from the passenger.
Police registered the case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, two dacoits stopped one Ammad and his friend and snatched cash, mobile phones and motorcycle from them at gunpoint in the limits of Waris Khan police station.
Separately, one Zafar accused his servant Zauq Ahmed of pilfering Rs 1 million and prize bonds worth Rs 1.4 million from his car.
Four cars and a motorcycle were also lifted from the areas of Pirwadhai, Airport and Wah Saddar police stations. Police filed cases and started investigation.
