Body formed to address ulema’s concerns

LAHORE - Punjab government has constituted a committee to address concerns of ulema and religious parties on the Women Protection Act 2016.
The consultative committee will be chaired by Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan while a senior member (law and order) special monitoring unit of CM Secretariat will be its secretary. The committee will hear reservations of ulema and religious parties on the Act and submit its findings to Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
