Sarfraz Merchant returning to Pakistan ‘with proofs against MQM’

Former MQM leader Sarfraz Merchant has agreed to come to Pakistan for recording his statement to FIA, Waqt News reported. He has alleged that MQM leadership in London has been taking funding from Indian Intelligent Agency RAW.

According to media sources the FIA Representative in London said Merchant has agreed to cooperate with FIA. “He will fly to Pakistan soon for detailed investigation,” a source said.

Sarfaraz Merchant had said in an interview that he has proofs that MQM leadership including Tariq Meer and M. Anwar in London have been taking funding from RAW.

After his statement Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar has established a judicial commission and asked FIA to investigate the allegations thoroughly.
Merchant’s announcement to come to Pakistan comes after his meeting with FIA representative is in London.
