The losing candidate of JUI-F from NA-10 Mardan-2, Maulana Mohammad Qasim, has alleged that election were rigged.

Addressing to a crowded press conference Maulana Mohammad Qsim claimed that changes were made in the results. He added that local administration and polling staff were partial in his constituency while polling staff themselves put stamps on ballot papers at female polling stations. He claimed that rigging was also made in female polling stations.

He accused that presiding officer did not allow his polling agents to sit inside the polling stations to watch the polling process, especially in female polling stations. Qasim claimed that police recovered ballot boxes from the hujra of his opponent’s supporter.

He added that his contest was with ANP candidate but PTI candidate won election and it was astonishing. He claimed that there were several polling stations where no PTI camps and agents were present but PTI won election.

He claimed that such type of situation was also made in NA-11 Mardan-3 where JUI-F candidate Maulana Imdadullah was in contest with ANP and PPP and on this constituency PTI candidate also won the election.
