GUJRANWALA    -  Twelve people, including six women, were killed and eight others injured when two passenger vehicles collided with a dumper on Gujranwala-Hafizabad road near Kot Ladha on Friday. According to Rescue 1122, the both vehicles (wagons) were going to Gujranwala from Sargodha when they collided with the dumper coming from the opposite direction. Resultantly,12 people died on the spot while eight received injuries. They victims were identified as Munawar Bibi, Asma, Fouzia, Haleema, Khalida, Asiya, Heerain, Ilyas, Gulzar, Aslam, Irfan and another whose identification could not be ascertained. The bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital,Gujranwala, whereas the injured were shifted to Hafizabad hospital. Rescue 1122 said nine people among the deceased were the residents of Rehmanpura,Gerjha Kah village.
