SCCI, Peshawar Cantt Board agree to resolve traders’ issues

peshawar   -   The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Administration of Cantonment Board Peshawar have agreed to work jointly for amicable resolution of issues confronting trader community in cantt area.


The agreement was reached in a meeting of SCCI delegation led by its president Hasnain Khurshid with Chief Executive Aamir Rasheed here at Cantonment Board office, on Friday. The traders’ representative delegation included Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Waqar Zaki, Siraj Afridi, Zahoor Khan, Nisar Ahmad and others, wherein officials concerned were also present on the occasion.


The delegation apprised the CEO Cantt Board Peshawar regarding issues of the trader community of Saddar Bazar Peshawar. The CEO Peshawar Cantt Board assured the delegation for its amicable resolution and issued instructions on spot in this regard.


The delegates also urged reduction in the ratio of professional tax in Peshawar Saddar while removing the concrete block near Imambargah Hussainia Hall to ensure smooth traffic flow on the interior Saddar road.


CEO Cantt Board Aamir Rasheed agreed with proposals of SCCI delegation and said that Cantonment Board administration is fully committed to facilitate the trader community at every level. He assured to take every possible step to facilitate traders and resolve their issues on priority basis.
