Bilawal criticises govt's character assassination

In a new series of criticism, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said on Wednesday that the government has no agenda or plan to get the country out of this crisis.

“All the government does is character assassination of opponents,” he said in a statement, adding that the government lacked the vision or agenda to lift Pakistan.

Bilawal criticised Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan for failing to fulfill yet another one of his promises. “The PM had vowed to appear before the Parliament twice a month to answer questions by opposition, but the PM or even the ministers, are not ready to give answers,” he said.

Warning the government to deliver on its promises, Bilawal said that not only the masses, but even those who brought Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to power would be disappointed if it fails to.

The PPP chairman had complained last week that the government refuses to respond on questions about economy and foreign policy.
