KARACHI A man butchered his wife, daughter and son in Zakria Goth area of Malir Cantt on Wednesday. Police arrested the culprit and his brother. According to the police officials, Shabir Hussain slaughtered his wife, Kabri, on the suspicious of being unfaithful, along with seven-year-old daughter Ramsha and two and half-year-old son Abdullah with the help of his brother Baber Hussain. He also attempted to slit the throat of his 17-year-old daughter Madiha who suffered serious injuries. The family belonged to Toba Take Singh and had came to Karachi for work 8 months ago. Police transported the bodies to Civil Hospital while the offenders have been shifted to Malir Cantt Police Station for further investigation. Online adds: A policeman was crushed to death in SITE area. Police said a speeding tractor-trolley hit 40-year-old Constable Muzaffar Iqbal near Dalda Company Morr, She-rshah. The victim, currently posted at District Head-quarter South, was a resident of Gulistan-e-Johar. The body has been shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy. No case could be registered till filing this story. The police have impounded the vehicle and initiated further probe, while the driver managed to escape after the incident.
