LAHORE - Sindh Colours women hockey team arrived here on Wednesday to take part in the 1st Chief Minister Punjab 5-a-side National Women Hockey Championship scheduled to begin at National Hockey Stadium on Oct 15. Kashmala and Sumaira are manager and coach respectively of the touring side which was received by DG SBP Adnan Arshad Aulakh, who also visited National Hockey Stadium to inspect arrangements of the event and issued necessary directions to concerned officials for smooth conduct of the event. Meanwhile, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said the event will provide an ideal platform to young female hockey players of the country to exhibit their hockey skills.
