CJP visits historic Katas Raj temple

Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar visited historic place Katas Raj in Chakwal on Friday.

He inspected different parts of Katas Raj, including the temple's pond that has now dried up. CJP summoned a detailed report on dried up water spring in Katas Raj on September 18th.

In the same instance, Saqib Nisar also reviewed the scarcity of water caused due to cement factories in Fatah Jang. In a dialogue with the cement factories owners, the CJP remarked, "for the sake of your personal interest and profit you have ruined the natural beauty of this area", "it is my heartiest desire to see the natural springs flowing again", he further added.

The chief justice also inquired from the people about water and environment related issues caused by the cement factory.
