PTI announces joint venture with Tajikistan to promote sports

Peshawar - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sports and Culture Forum president Engineer Said Mahmood announced to hold various games in joint venture with Tajikistan in order to provide international exposure to the players of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing the ‘meet the press programme’ of Peshawar Press Club here, Said, flanked by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Writer Association (KPSWA) president Nadir Khawaja, secretary Asif Orakzi, said: “PTI sports and cultural forum is busy round the clock to provide healthy entertainment to terrorism hit people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and it will bring revolution in every sector of the province whether it is sport, culture and tourism.”
He said PTI sports and culture forum would hold tournaments of different games and send three teams every year to Tajikistan. “Tajikistan ambassador has assured all kind of cooperation with PTI sports and culture forum for holding various tournaments.”
He also announced to hold Premier League Cricket Tournament in which teams of all the four provinces would be made. He said international players would be given representation in this tournament and in this connection, players of India, Australia, Bangladesh and New Zealand had been invited to participate. He said that by holding such big events a positive image of the country would be portrayed to the world and soon international teams would be made ready to visit Pakistan.
He also promised to provide scholarship and sponsorship facilities to players in order to remove their financial worries and support their families along with games. He also announced that PTI sports and culture forum would hold culture award show on December 17 in which actors and singers would be given cash prizes and awards.
