ISLAMABAD - Chinese ambassador Yao Jing and Head of Mission Lijian Zhao on Thursday visited Pakistan People’s Party Senator Rehman Malik and discussed bilateral relations.  Senator Malik welcomed the envoy and greeted him on his appointment as ambassador in Pakistan, said a statement release by his office. “Both pledged to work to further strengthen ties between the two friendly countries,” said the statement. The Chinese ambassador told the senator that he had worked with him when he was the interior minister and had found him highly cooperative, the statement said.
