The Punjab Education Department announced a relaxation of the winter school uniform policy on Sunday.
In a notification issued by the department, the change applies to all public and private schools with immediate effect.
Students are now permitted to wear jackets, sweaters, coats, socks, and shoes in any color.
This policy adjustment, aimed at helping students stay warm during the winter months, will remain in effect until February 28, 2025.
