LAHORE: The rejection of Ishaq Dar's nomination papers for Senate seat has been challenged by his counsel in Lahore High Court Appellate Tribunal (AT).
The petitioner took the plea that returning officers had rejected the nomination papers against the facts and all the legal formalities were met.
The petitioner prayed the LHC AT to nullify the orders of returning officer for rejecting the nomination papers.
It may be mentioned that election commission had rejected the nomination papers of former finance minister.
The PTI counsel had taken the plea during the cross-questioning in election commission that Ishaq Dar had given one bank account in connection with election expenses on two seats.
