3 tortured bodies found in Karachi




KARACHI - Three people including a woman were killed in separate acts of violence in the metropolis on Saturday.
A woman died under mysterious circumstances in Sherpao Colony in the remit of Quaidabad Police. The incident took place in the wee hours of Saturday at Sherpao Colony where the resident of slum area, Hyder Zaman, entered his room when he saw his wife Anum, 27, was lying on the floor of kitchen and the stove was open. He shifted her to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) where she succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Doctors said that someone had thrown chemicals on her face and stomach and some torture marks were also present on her body. Police said that during interrogation they revealed that unidentified man or men entered her house and after torture threw chemical on her and manage to escape. The officials added that the victim got married 13 years ago but she had no child. She hailed from Haripur Hazara.  Separately police found a bullet-riddled body of a young man from Shah Waliullah Road Lyari in the limits of Kalri police. 
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Nasir Ali Baloch, a resident of Ahmed Shah Bukhari Road Baghdadi Lyari. Police official said the victim hands and legs were tied with ropes and he received two bullets on his head. The body was shifted to CHK for medico legal formalities. Police official said the victim was the employee of a medicine company and his family said he went on his factory on Friday and after that he had no contact with any one and on the early hours of Saturday police found his body.  Officer said the victim had no affiliation with any political party or any gang war group and police believed that personal enmity is motive behind the incident. Later, the police handed over his body to the heirs. In another incident, police found the body of a young man from a Nullah in Shafiq Moor within the jurisdiction of F B Industrial area police.
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Rafiq son of Shahid of slum area of Gadap Town. Police said the victim was killed on the attack of dagger and unidentified men kidnapped him from unknown place and after murder threw his body in the Nullah. He was a vegetable vendor. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem.
