Speech contest held at AIOU




ISLAMABAD – Students from various branches of Dar-e-Arqam School System participated in the speech contest organized here at Allama Iqbal Auditorium by the school management.
Regional Director of the School System, Malik Azhar Mahmood, was the chief guest on the occasion while a large number of students from various branches of the school, faculty members and parents of the students attended the function.
Underscoring the need of the co-curricular activities the chief guest said that for the overall grooming of the children and their character building, the co-curricular activities had a very important role.
He said that the management of Dar-e-Arqam was laying special focus on the personality building of the students with main focus on inculcating the Islamic values in the youth so that they could become a good citizen and play their due role in the overall development of the country.
He was of the view that no nation could progress and grow with equipping the youth with latest education and the school system was focusing all its energies on provision of the latest education to the students so that they could be prepared to face the challenges of the fast-changing world.
The need for co-curricular activities  was stressed  for l grooming of the children and their character building.
Later, the chief guest distributed prizes among the winners of the speech contest.
