Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Friday has demanded to end political revenge against the opposition parties.
While talking to media, the PML-N leader said that those who called others as thieves are now also accountable for their deeds. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has to be closed to fulfill all the requirements of justice, he added.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi further said that one-sided process of accountability is unaccepted.
Earlier, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Broadsheet found nothing against PML-N supremo and former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
He said those who looted the national exchequer were given NRO and those, against whom no evidences have been found are being dragged in courts by the NAB.
The NAB is a source to pressurize politicians, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said while adding that the anti-graft body holds others accountable but is answerable itself today. Who gave authority to the NAB to handover public money of Rs 7 billion to a company, he asked.
