RAWALPINDI - The order of appointment of a land revenue officer as Naib Tehsildar of Rawalpindi Division was withdrawn here on Friday. Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Syed Gulzar Ali Shah ordered withdrawal of the notification No.FB/A-II-7-(B)/121, dated 11th January, 2022 appointing Adnan Bashir Kiani as NTO Rawalpindi Division. According to new notification, issued by Additional Commissioner (Coordination) Rawalpindi Division, Adnan Bashir Kiani was sent back to Hazro where he was serving as NTO prior to new assignment. Sources disclosed that the Commissioner cancelled appointment of Adnan Bashir Kiani as NTO Rawalpindi District after a series of complaints emerged against him including his involvement in corruption and registration of FIRs in Anti Corruption Establishment Rawalpindi Region against him. Similarly, the appointment of another land revenue officer Saleem Raza as Naib Tehsildar Hazro and has been ordered to join as NTO Pindigheb.
