ISLAMABAD- Arsalan Iftikhar, the son of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, is adamant to get the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan disqualified.
In a recent development today, Arsalan Iftikhar filed an application to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) seeking Imran Khan's bio data. He says Imran Khan's information is required for filing a reference against the PTI chief.
Reports said the reference will be filed with the speaker National Assembly on the grounds that Imran Khan did not fulfill requirements of Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution in connection with contesting the general elections.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued copy of Imran Khan's nomination papers to Arsalan who claims that the PTI chief has concealed some facts in the nomination papers.
"Imran Khan did mention having two sons but did not disclose the fact of having a daughter. He is neither Sadiq (honest) nor Ameen (upright)," Arsalan Iftikhar had alleged previously.
