Islamabad- Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi today, welcomed former President Asif Ali Zardari’s support in demand for vote re-count.
Reacting to the statement of former President, Asif Ali Zardari, he said that even Asif Ali Zardari did not acknowledge the transparency of 2013 general elections and accept PTI’s stance to bring a transparent system. He has also asked former president, Zardari to join in the Long March on August 14. He added, Electoral reforms will be the sole aim of August 14 long March. In addition, he said, “we invite all those parties to long march which accept our stance.”
Qureshi stressed the importance of vote re-count and long march in introducing fair and transparent elections in Pakistan.
