Neelam lauds govt for pro-poor budget

LAHORE - Provincial Minister for Population Welfare, Neelam Jabbar Ch has said that Punjab budget 2010-11 is balanced in the critical economic circumstances in which employees salary as well as pension has been increased. She said that huge funds have been allocated for the social sector uplift under which basic facilities like electricity, gas, uncontaminated water, health, education and Sasti Roti would be provided in the less developed areas on priority. The Minister said that Punjab budget would open new vistas of real development in the province and will reflect pro-poor initiatives and commitment with the people. She congratulated the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira for presenting balanced and people friendly budget.
