RAWALPINDI    - A fire broke out here on Monday in Bara Market and engulfed several shops in the cloth market near HBL Chowk, Mian Iqbal Road. 

According to Rescue 1122, three shops were completely burnt down. Electronics, clothes and other items worth nearly Rs 20 million reduced to ashes due to the fire in the market.  

Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot to control the fire and saved the market from catastrophe using six fire trucks and two rescue vehicles.  The Rescue sources said the Rescue 1122 personnel completed the cooling process and cleared the area.
