Man, woman shot dead in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD   -  A man was murdered over petty dispute and another man died in road mishap in different areas of capital, informed sources on Monday. Three women were abducted while a 15-year-old boy was assaulted sexually. Robbers mugged two houses in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, sources added.

According to sources, Nazir Akhter lodged complaint with Police Station (PS) Shehzad Town stating Ahmed, Shehzad and Ahsan had shot dead his brother Shakeel Ahmed over exchange of harsh words in Tuma village and fled from the crime scene. 

Another citizen Ameer Uddin lodged complaint with PS Tarnol that his son Rizwan was crossing road near Railway track when a speeding trailer crushed him to do death while driver managed to escape from the scene, sources said.

Similarly, three women were kidnapped from the limits of police stations Khanna, Shehzad Town and Koral, sources said adding that a gang of three men namely Kashif, Usama and Sufian had sodomized a 15-year-old boy in Qureshi Town of PS Golra. The rapist managed to flee from the scene after committing crime while police registered a case against them.

Sources added that three robbers, allegedly linked with Bilal Sabit gang, have burgled cash and gold from a house located at G-10/4 of PS Ramna limits and fled from scene.

In Rawalpindi, a gang of five armed dacoits along with a lady robber stormed into house of a doctor in Gulistan Colony and took away gold and cash. The robbers managed to escape from the scene while SHO PS Civil Lines along with heavy contingent of police rushed to the crime scene and collected evidences and CCTV footages to trace out robbers, sources said.

In Chontra, a woman was killed in an exchange of firing between two groups. The deceased was identified as Resham Bibi (60) while Chontra police registered case against the accused and began investigation, they said.
