SC moved against Nato supply restoration

A petition was filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday against the resumption of Nato supplies. According to media reports, applicant Barrister Zafarullah Jamali in his application prayed to the court that the movement of Nato supplies through Pakistan were against the national interest. He said this would breed violence and suicide attacks would boom in the country if the Nato supplies were reopened. He also prayed that Pakistani government also be stopped from attending Chicago conference. It is to mention here that the government is likely to reopen Nato supplies as, according to sources, decision has been taken by the government to reopen the routes.
