PML-Q newly elected leader from NA-187 Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema has thanked Bahawalpur National Awami Party Chief Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi for supporting him and PML-Q candidate in PP-276 Dr Afzal in elections.
Resultantly, he said they obtained more than 10,000 votes from Cholistan area. He was talking to newsmen after holding a meeting with the BNAP chief at his residence.  Tariq Bashir revealed that after 28 hours, he was given election results. He congratulated the inhabitants of his home town constituency NA-187 for electing him as their representative and rejected all type of tactics played by his wealthy  political rivals. He alleged rigging in NA-186.
To a question, Cheema said that he would play his role in National Assembly as per policy of the PML-Q leadership. He vowed to continue PML-Q alliance with BNAP in Bahawalpur district in future as well. Earlier, Cheema discussed prevailing political situation and election results of various constituencies of Bahawalpur district with Nawab Salahuddin.
