LAHORE - The drive launched by the Punjab agriculture department to decrease the import bill of pulses is continuing with an aim to promote the cultivation of pulses in the province. A spokesman of the Agriculture department said this here on Tuesday. He said that growers could obtain maximum financial benefit by boosting pulses cultivation. The department was running a campaign to promote the cultivation of such agricultural commodities through which growers could have more financial benefit and import bill could be reduced.
