Construction of Bhatiot Boota road begins in Attock

ATTOCK - Construction of 12 km long Bhatiot Boota road has been started which will directly benefit thousands of residents of Attock and  seven villages of Tehsil Jand which include Bhatiot, Dhok  Rati Kasi, Chontra, Salman Abad, Mahora, Khunda, Dhok Kala and other nearby localities. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam said this while talking to this correspondent. He said that this public interest road which had become a dead project has been started due to special consideration of the Prime Minister Imran Khan for underdeveloped areas and it will not only provide better traveling facilities but will also reduce distance of these villages from Attock (District Headquarters) by almost 40 km. He said that at present, the residents of these villages cover 80 to 100 km distance to reach Attock but after the completion of this road the distance will be reduced upto 50 percent. Malik Amin said this road will also benefit other areas of Tehsil Jand and Pindigheb as well and said that this road will also help generate economic activities as at present this route is abandoned because of hilly area.
