RAWALPINDI (Online) - In a major reshuffle in the Pakistan Army on Friday, Lieutenant-General Sardar Mahmood Ali has been appointed as Deputy Chairman Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA). The slot of Deputy Chairman ERRA fell vacant after Lieutenant-General Sajjad Akram was appointed as Corps Commander Bhawalpur. The reshuffling in the Pakistan Army was approved by Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, military sources informed Online. The newly-promoted Lieutenant-General Muhammad Asif has been appointed as Director General Joint Staff Headquarters, military sources said. Lt-General Muhammad Ahsan has been appointed as Engineer-in-chief while Lieutenant-General Javed Iqbal has been appointed as adjutant General. On the other hand, Major-General Ashfaq has been appointed as Director General Military Operations, sources said, adding, that the tenure of Former DG ISI Lieutenant-General Nadeem Taj is going to expire on April 28.
