Islamabad - Pakistan has strongly condemned the US-led drone strike in North Waziristan tribal region which killed at least four people on Sunday, reported a private TV channel. A statement issued by Foreign Office on Monday said such unilateral attacks were in contravention of international law and counter-productive to the stability of the country.

The government maintained its position that drone strikes were violating its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Such attacks also set dangerous precedents in the inter-state relations, added the Foreign Office’s statement. “Pakistan calls upon the US government to stop such attacks,” it said.
