Karakorum Highway (KKH) between Gilgit to Chilas, was restored for all types of traffic on Monday.

According to the reports, the restoration work is ongoing by Frontier Works Organization (FWO).

As per details, the segments of road were blocked at eight different points due to landslides that took place after heavy rain in Babusar and Naran districts of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) province.

It is pertinent to state here that the Babusar-Naran road is still closed for all vehicular traffic since the last two day.
