LAHORE - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa telephoned Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and inquired about the health of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. COAS also prayed that God Almighty grant complete recovery to Ch Shujaat Hussain soon.

Meanwhile, Former PM Nawaz Sharif and former finance minister Ishaq Dar also telephoned Ch Parvez Elahi from London. The two leaders sought the well-being of Ch Shujaat Hussain and wished him well.

Talking to Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Nawaz Sharif said: “You and Shujaat Sahib must meet me whenever you visit London”. On behalf of himself and Ch Shujaat Hussain, Ch Parvez Elahi congratulated Mian Nawaz Sharif on the marriage of Junaid Safdar, son of Maryam Nawaz. Nawaz Sharif thanked Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi for the greetings.
