PESHAWAR  – At least three persons, including a policeman and two kidnappers, were killed fire exchange during a search operation here on Sunday. According to details, police conducted search operation in Duranpur area of Peshawar against kidnappers.
During search operation the accused resisted and opened fire at police party injuring a cop Shaukat Ali. In retaliatory fire two members of kidnapper group were killed. The injured cop was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Meanwhile, one security official was injured when a bomb exploded near a paramilitary camp in Landi Kotal the other day.
A locally manufactured bomb, hidden near paramilitary camp in the Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency, at Pak-Afghan border went off with a big bang.
