LAHORE – No play was possible due to intermittent rain in city on day one of the Inter Region Under-23 Cricket Tournament semi-final between Abbottabad and Karachi here at the LCCA ground on Sunday.
Aftab Gilani and M Arif Senior are the umpires of the match and Zaigham Barki has been named match referee.
 Multan in trouble against Rawalpindi:
In the other semi-final, put into bat, Multan Region were in deep trouble against Rawalpindi as they were tottering at 68/8 in 37 overs against Multan at the Multan Stadium Multan on Sunday. Junaid Iqbal (20) played well. For Rawalpindi Region Zain-ul-Abdin (2-29), Atlas Khan 2-16 and  Sami Ullah (2-9)  bowled well.  Sajid Afridi and Shmamim Ansari supervising the match and Shahid Butt is the match referee of the match and Zulfiqar Ali is the official scorer.
