LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Basharat Raja called on Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Ameer Bhatti here on Thursday.
Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik, Advocate General Ahmad Owais and Inspector General of Police Inam Ghani accompanied the minister.
LHC Registrar Yar Walana and Directorate of District Judiciary Director General Masood Arshad were also present on the occasion.
LHC Chief Justice Ameer Bhatti termed provision of justice to the masses a foremost priority. He said that all steps would be taken to provide facilities and security to the litigants, lawyers and judges. He said that provision of best infrastructure to the courts was a need of the hour.
The provincial minister and others congratulated the chief justice on assuming the office and appreciated his vision. They also endorsed the steps, taken by the Lahore High Court, for the provision of justice to masses and promised complete support to the courts.
