OLARA - The Okara police claimed to have arrested two persons after a raid at gambling den in kamma. Okara DPO Faisal Shahzad said that the raid was conducted on a special information.
As per details, under the special directions issued by the DPO Okara Faisal Shahzad and under the supervision of SDPO RenalaK Khurd circle Zafar Iqbal Doger, a team of PS chuchak comprising on Muhammad Mansha, SI, Sajid Ali, Waqas Hussain, Irfan Haider, Farrukh Nazeer, constables, headed by the SHO PS Chuchak, Ijaz Ahmad Bhatti raided at a gambling roost in kamma and arrested two accused persons namely, Ghulam Ali S/O Ahmad Din, Allah Ditta S/O Muhammad Sadiq Caste Kamyana R/O Kamma, Renala Khurd and recovered Rs. 70,500,Cards including two Android mobile phones from the said accused persons whearas other five accused persons namely, Ijaz S/O, Falak Sher S/O Abdul Aziz, Yousaf S/O Aslam, Aamir S/O Mohsin,Caste Kamyana, R/O Kamma, Abbas S/O unknown caste Machi R/O Mittha Kaluwaal fled away from the spot.
A case NO, 150/21, US 5/7 of the Punjab prevention of gambling Ordinance 1978 is registered against the said accused persons in PS Chuchak, raids are being conducted by the local police for the arrest of remaining co-accused persons.
According to the spokesman of district police Okara, Khalid Mehmood, DPO Okara Faisal Shahzad and SDO Renala Khurd circle Zafar Iqbal Doger appreciated the SHO PS Chuchak Ijaz Ahmad Bhatti and his team. Okara DPO also announced commendation certificates for his team.
