Shehbaz, Bilawal discuss strategy for joint Parliament sitting

Karachi - Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif rang up Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and discussed Parliamentary issues and matters of common and national interests.

The PPP chairman and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif also talked about joint session of the Parliament and strategy to be adopted by the parties included in united opposition.

During the telephonic conversation, PPP Chairman told Shehbaz that anti-people policies of the incumbent PTI government would be reversed through the Parliament which is the apex democratic forum. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari added that Parliament was the only democratic forum for elected representatives to legislate on people-friendly policies and laws as they uphold the interest of the common man there.

He told Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif that opposition parties had in recent past successfully compelled the selected PTI government to surrender and retreat on several occasions and that success was because of the unity of parties of the opposition.
