Rawalpindi-Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench Justice Raja Shahid Mehmood Abbasi on Thursday granted bail to Barrister Malik Hassan Sardar Awan in an attempted murder case. 
Khurram Masood Kiani Advocate appeared on behalf of accused Malik Hassan Sardar Awan and argued that his client is innocent and had nothing to do with the case. He added his client was travelling to Rawalpindi from Chakwal via motorway at the time the incident took place. He also informed court that police investigators had declared his client not guilty in the probe. Therefore, the court should grant bail to the client, said the advocate. The prosecution pleaded the court to cancel his bail plea.
