MARDAN - District police have arrested 15 proclaimed offenders and five other drug traffickers during operations in various areas of Mardan district, DPO Dr Zahidullah Khan said.

Talking to journalists, Dr Zahidullah said that operations were conducted in Rustam, Jabar, Lundkhwar, Shergarh and Garhi Kapura areas.

He said that the arrestees included 15 proclaimed offenders, wanted by the police stations in various areas of Mardan district.

The police also recovered 22 pistols, two Kalashnikovs, two Kalakovs, 20 pistols, more than 12kg charas, wine and other contrabands. 

He said that the police also checked the data of vehicles and local residents through digital devices and arrested 57 people under various sections of on suspicion.
