LAHORE - The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has raided several housing societies and sealed them for tax evasion in Sialkot.
According to the details, officials of Punjab Revenue Autharity (PRA) took action against housing societies which are already involved in tax evasion.
The PRA team sealed 12 societies and banned all the transactions of these housing societies.
These housing societies include Green Villas, Silk City, Palm City, Happy Valley, Model Housing Society and Nishtar Garden Housing Society ect. It is to be noted that the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) had also sealed ten housing societies, one hotel and two beauty parlors in Sargodha in April last year.
According to the details, PRA Deputy Director Asif Nadeem took action against housing societies which were involved in tax evasion. The PRA team sealed 10 societies in Sargodha.
These housing societies include Prime Valley involved in tax evasion of Rs5.9 million, Allama Iqbal Town evaded Rs4.9 million tax, Alraza Garden involved in tax evasion Rs8.6 million, New Raza Garden in Rs12.8 million, Nishra Valley in Rs6.4 million, Usman Block in Rs4.9 million, Shalimar Garden in Rs4.4 million and Green Valley in Rs5.8 million.
The PRA also sealed two beauty parlors which were involved in tax evasion. The beauty parlors include All Fair Beauty Parlor and Zehra Beauty Parlor in Sargodha.
