Corona claims  four more lives in Multan

MULTAN   -   Another four patients fell prey to coronovirus at Nishtar Hopsital within last 24 hours. Nishtar focal person for infectious diseases, Dr Irfan Arshad said that Ahmad Ali (40) Abid Hussain (65) Sardar Muhammed (50) and Altaf Hussain (65) passed away at ICU of Nishtar hospital. Ahmad Ali belonged to Vehari, Abid Hussain to Muzaffargarh, Sardar Muhammed Khanewal while Altaf Hussain hailed from Layyah, he informed. Forty-eight patients were tested positive and 20 were suspected out of total 105 cases brought to admit here, he stated.  Fifty patients were also diagnosed as negative and would likely to be discharged soon.

Cold, dry weather to persist

The local Met office has forecast cold and dry weather with chances of fog in the morning for city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours. On Saturday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 16.5 degree centigrade and 4.5 degree centigrade respectively. The humidity was recorded 100 percent at 8:00a.m. and 60 percent at 5:00p.m. The sun will rise at 07:09 a.m. and set at 5:39 p.m. on Sunday.
