On Sunday, Punjab Assembly Speaker and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has said that participation of all the political parties in by-election is welcoming.

The PML-Q leader said in a statement that opposition parties want to increase the political temperature with their Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in this cold weather.

The concerned authorities are required to take immediate action to improve the situation, he suggested. Pervez Elahi further said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan wants to provide relief to the people.
