LARKANA - JUI-Fazal General Secretary, Sindh, Maulana Rashid Khalid Mehmood Soomro, has said that the corruption and unrest within Larkana city is in­creasing day by day which cannot be tolerated by the citizens anymore. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that Un­cleanliness in the city is creating problems for the residents on one hand and on the other thefts, rob­beries and other criminal acts are being committed from almost every street almost daily. He said hon­est officers were not be­ing posted in Larkana be­cause they could not fulfill the requirements of any influential political person due to which a major post of additional commis­sioner was lying vacant since long and the post of commissioner, Larkana Division was being looked after by the commissioner of Sukkur Division for a year. He asked why loot­ers, thieves and corrupt mafia were in our Larkana due to which lawlessness is at its peak and people have been deprived of their basic needs. He said those who obtained votes from the people should remember that they will have to come to the mass­es again for votes. He said enough is enough adding rulers should have mercy on the citizens of Larkana who have left them like orphans.
