Unidentified armed men gunned down a shopkeeper present inside his shop here on Monday and fled the scene. 

According to details, unknown miscreants sprayed bullets on a shop near Sheegal Stop in Afghan Refugees Camp, Gandaf Gadoon Amazai Industrial Estate, Swabi.

As a result of firing, Afghan national shopkeeper Hazrat Rehman was killed on the spot and the attackers escaped the scene after committing the crime.

The body was shifted to the hospital where it was handed over to heirs after postmortem and the police after registering a case against unidentified assailants have started an investigation.
